Our M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ Roll Groover for 1-1/4” - 4” Sch 10/40, 6” Sch 10 is the industry’s first cordless Roll Groover, designed to optimize the productivity of on-site grooving. Driven by the power of M18 FUEL™, the RINGER™ eliminates the strain of traditional grooving, enabling sprinkler fitters the ability to work efficiently anywhere, even at the point of installation. With runtime up to 50 2.5” Sch 10 grooves per charge, the M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ stands up to the demands of a day on the jobsite. The easy-to-use groove controls enable the operator to simply select pipe material, size, and schedule to control groove depth. What is the pipe size capacity of the M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ ROLL GROOVER?

There are two M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ Roll Groovers models, each with different pipe size capacity

  • 2927-22 will groove 1-1/4-6” Sch 10 and 1-1/4-4” Sch 40 pipes
  • 2928-22 will groove 2-6” Sch10 and Sch 40 pipes

What space is required to operate the M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ ROLL GROOVER?

A:

The RINGER™ requires just 4.5” of radial clearance and 17” of axial clearance.

Q:

Do you need to measure grooves made by theM18 FUEL™ RINGER™ ROLL GROOVER?

A:

Yes, all grooves completed by the RINGER™ should be measured to confirm accuracy before installation.

Q:

Does M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ Roll Groover meet grooved pipe specifications?

A:

The RINGER™ when used properly will produce grooves that meet AWWA C606 requirements for 2” to 6” pipes.

Q:

Can the RINGER™ Groove short lengths that are too short for a pipe stand?

A:

Yes, for lengths allowed by coupling manufacturers but too short to easily secure in chain vise, the pipe can be placed in the RINGER™ while on a stable surface, the RINGER™ will default to benchtop mode with no additional steps.

Q:

Do I need to touch the M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ ROLL GROOVER during its grooving cycle?

A:

No, its recommended to always keep hands away from the tool after starting the groove cycle, if the tool must be stopped for any reason, use the rear stop farthest from the grooving rollers.

Does M18 FUEL™ RINGER™ ROLL GROOVER meet required grooved pipe specifications?

A:

The RINGER™ when used properly will produce grooves that meet AWWA C606 requirements for 2” to 6” pipes.
