M18 Fuel™ Top Handle Chainsaw
Milwaukee Tool, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling a subset of M18 FUEL™ 12” and 14” Top Handle Chainsaws (category number 2826-20) due to a potential chain brake issue.
On some saws (units with the fourth character of the serial number “A”), the chain brake may not prevent the chain from moving when the brake is engaged. Failure of the brake could pose a laceration risk should the chain be contacted by the operator.
· Cat.No: 2826-20C, 2826-22T, 2826-21T, 2826-20T
· Affected Serial numbers: Units with the fourth character of the serial number is “A.”
· The only affected saw is the M18 FUEL™ Top Handle Chainsaw
If users have an affected saw:
· Stop using the saw immediately.

Any users with an impacted saw must immediately contact Milwaukee® via the eService portal or at 833-953-2012 (7:00am to 4:30pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday).
