MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Tool is proud to announce the M18 FUEL™ 12” Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw w/ ONE-KEY™ which generates the power of a 15amp corded 12” miter saw while being up to 15% lighter than corded. The saw can deliver up to 330 cuts per charge in 3-1/4” base while offering the same capacity as leading 12” corded miter saws. Equipped with One-Key™*, users can also easily track, manage, and secure the miter saw through the One-Key™ app on their phone.

True to all M18 FUEL™ solutions, the new saw combines three exclusive innovations – the POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, REDLITHIUM™ battery pack, and REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence. Milwaukee® created a brand-new POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor for this saw, which delivers 3,500 RPM for smooth, fast cuts without bogging down. Boasting the same impressive capacity users have come to expect on a traditional corded miter saw, the tool can complete a wide range of core carpentry applications, from frame to finish, including: 6-3/4” Vertical Capacity for cutting large base up against the fence, 2x14 Horizontal Capacity for cutting stair treads and large stock, and 7-1/2” Crown Nested for cutting large crown molding in position.

The saw features a dual bevel design which provides a max bevel capacity of 48° left and right with stops at common settings. An adjustable stainless-steel detent plate includes 11 detent stops and allows a miter range of 50° left and 60° right. A detent override lets users lock the saw in place for more control when a cut is needed at an uncommon angle. Because lasers can be inaccurate, inconsistent and often difficult to see, the tool also features a Shadow Cut Line Indicator for improved accuracy. An LED directs light onto both sides of the blade, casting a crisp shadow the width of the blade kerf that is also easy to view in sunlight.

When equipped with Milwaukee’s new M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ HD12.0 Battery, the saw can power through more than 330 cuts in 3-1/4” base on a single charge, eliminating the hassle of cords or constant switching-out of multiple battery packs, while exceeding the performance of higher voltage solutions in the industry. The new HIGH OUTPUT™ HD12.0 Battery provides 50% more power, runs 50% cooler, and delivers 33% more run-time than the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HD9.0 Battery. In addition, a newly redesigned REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence package ensures maximum performance of the tool under load and prevents against overload and overheat.
