MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Tool demonstrates its continued commitment to delivering productivity-enhancing accessory solutions with the introduction of their new Self-Sharpening Chisels and Next Generation SDS-Max Drill Bits. “With a complete lineup of SDS Plus and SDS Max rotary hammer products, Milwaukee Tool continues to deliver solutions that will stand up to the toughest concrete applications, and our accessories are no exception,” said David Lincoln, Senior Product Manager for Milwaukee Tool. “The design of our new Self-Sharpening Chisels and SDS-Max Drill Bits delivers the longest life in the industry, and our Next Generation SDS-Max Drill Bits offer up to 20% faster drilling.” The new Self-Sharpening Chisels feature an optimized tip that provides up to 2X longer life than standard chisels and up to 30% longer life than other self-sharpening chisels on the market. The self-sharpening tip geometry maintains the head shape over the life of the bit, helping them to sharpen evenly and eliminating the downtime associated with re-sharpening. This increased sharpness throughout the life of the chisel breaks up concrete more efficiently for extreme productivity. 

The Next Generation SDS-Max Drill Bits are designed with breaker points that pulverize material more efficiently, while variable flutes that widen near the tip of the bit help to remove debris faster – allowing users to make up to 15% more holes per charge.* To protect the bit against hard aggregate and rebar, rebar guards at the tip extend the life of the bit. These bits come in 3/8” – 2” diameters. The new Self-Sharpening Chisels and Next Generation SDS-Max Drill Bits will be available at all distributors in July. Also in July, Milwaukee Tool will add SDS Plus Core Bits to this line.
