MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Tool is once again delivering unrivaled productivity to the professional trades with the introduction of the industry’s first interchangeable tank solution, the M18™ SWITCH TANK™ Interchangeable Sprayer and Water Supply System. Core to the new system is the M18™ SWITCH TANK™ Powered Base, which provides power to three different interchangeable tanks: a 4-Gallon Water Supply, 4-Gallon Concrete Sprayer, and 4-Gallon Pesticide Sprayer. The M18™ SWITCH TANK™ Interchangeable Sprayer and Water Supply System delivers instant, constant, and adjustable pressure with no manual pumping, and users can easily add on or replace any of the compatible tanks.

How It Works

Each SWITCH TANK™ solution is made up of two components – the M18™ SWITCH TANK™ Powered Base and the Water Supply or Sprayer Tank Assembly. The Powered Base includes the motor, REDLITHIUM™ battery compartment, and REDLINK™ electronics, while the interchangeable Tank Assembly includes its pump, hose, and respective accessories. The isolated pump and hose design allows users to add on additional Tank Assemblies for different applications, eliminating cross-chemical contamination.

M18™ SWITCH TANK™ 4-Gallon Backpack Water Supply

Designed to meet the water supply needs for concrete cutting and coring, the 4-Gallon Backpack Water Supply delivers instant, constant and adjustable pressure up to 60 PSI and helps users be OSHA® Table 1 Compliant.* The 5-mode pressure adjustment knob adjusts pressure between 20 – 60 PSI for ultimate control. When equipped with an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC3.0 Battery it provides up to 12 tanks of water delivery per charge. The tank features a dual diaphragm pump for increased durability and longer pump life. The tank also has a wide mouth opening for easier pouring and a strainer that filters debris from getting into the tank.

M18™ SWITCH TANK™ 4-Gallon Backpack Concrete Sprayer

Designed to meet the needs of concrete contractors, the 4-Gallon Backpack Concrete Sprayer delivers instant, constant and adjustable pressure up to 120 PSI and a 25 ft spray distance. The 5-mode pressure adjustment knob adjusts pressure between 20 – 120 PSI with a high flow rate optimized to cover a large surface as quickly as possible. When equipped with an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC3.0 Battery it provides up to 12 tanks of spraying per charge. The tank is built for compatibility with concrete chemicals and features a dual diaphragm pump and Viton® seals for longer pump life and increased durability. In addition, a wide mouth opening allows for easier pouring and a strainer filters debris from getting into the tank.

Designed to meet the needs of professional landscape maintenance, the 4-Gallon Backpack Pesticide Sprayer delivers instant, constant and adjustable pressure up to 120 PSI and a 25 ft spray distance. The 5-mode pressure adjustment knob adjusts pressure between 20 – 120 PSI, with a lower flow rate optimized for more control during targeted spot spraying. When equipped with an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC3.0 Battery it provides up to 12 tanks of spraying per charge. The tank is built for compatibility with common landscape maintenance chemicals and features a dual diaphragm pump and Viton® seals*** for longer pump life and increased durability. In addition, a wide mouth opening allows for easier pouring and a strainer filters debris from getting into the tank.
